At some point, most of us stop dreaming. We give up on our “Big Dreams” and settle for a mediocre life.
When was the last time you let yourself dream?
The time is now! If you’ve found your way here, more than likely you’ve hit what I call threshold. A time when you declare, no more! You crave that sense of something deeper, a life filled with meaning, living out your purpose. The problem is that most of us stopped dreaming a long time ago and we don’t even know exactly what we want, just an underlying feeling that that something isn’t quite as fulfilling as we thought it would be. Maybe someone told you that your dreams were frivolous, unrealistic, out of reach, or just plain “silly.” I still remember one of my very dear friend’s mom saying, “Oh, Leanne, and her ‘big ideas’.” The truth is, I did have big ideas! I still do! Maybe it wasn’t realistic to build a popsicle stick house, but we certainly had a ton of fun trying! And the skills we cultivated in that process were skills we actually went on to use later in life. I often wonder, what if we had someone to guide us along in that process? Would we have marketed our idea to build a huge financial empire? Or maybe just the “World’s Largest Popsicle Stick House.” Who knows, but that’s the beauty of working with a coach.
A Coach is there to help you clearly identify your outcome and then keep you focused to bring your “Big Dream” to reality. Of course along the way you will uncover your superpowers and find inner freedom.
