I’ll be honest, I have had a love affair with sugar almost my entire life. I have sweet memories of my Mom making lemon squares and campfire s’mores. That morphed into many fond memories of sharing decadent deserts with my daughter. Okay, maybe “sharing” is a bit of an overstatement. My husband refers to it as, “watching two hyenas go after a kill.” There has been a fork fight or two as we vie for the last bite of an ooey gooey hot fudge brownie sundae.
Regardless, sugar, although not always present, has had a prominent role in our family. Sort of like a well-loved aunt who comes to visit and has everyone laughing and smiling a little brighter.
There have been times in my life when sugar and I have broken up for a time, only to have a meet again a few months later.
Three years ago, I found our product sponsor and everything changed.
I immediately fell in love with the yummy products, but more importantly, I loved the way I began to feel. At 44, I no longer had to resign myself to “getting older” and all of the aches, pains, and conditions that come with it. I had more energy and noticed I didn’t crave the sugar. I shared the products with my family and they too raved about the results.
I began to offer a month long program with my yoga students and they too experienced great outcomes.
If you think you are ready to break up with sugar for good, I’d love to help you. Let’s have a quick chat and I can give you a few pointers and let you know what I found to be helpful. Email me at Leanne@LeanneWoehlke.com and we can set up a call.
